- It's 1 Kg of Red snapper fish.
- It's 30 gms of Tamarind.
- Prepare 2 of big size onion chopped.
- It's 3 of small size tomato.
- Prepare 6 cloves of garlic.
- Prepare 3 teaspoons of chilli powder.
- It's 1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
- You need 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 100 ml of groundnut oil.
- You need 1 teaspoon of fenugreek.
Fish Curry / Red Snapper Fish Curry instructions
- Clean the fish and wash completely.
- Heat oil and add fenugreek and let it fry. Add onion and fry till it becomes golden brown.
- Add garlic and tomato and fry well.
- Add tamarind purée and let it boil for 2 mins by adding turmeric powder.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
- Let it cook for 3 minutes. Add the fish and stir gentle.
- Allow the gravy to cook for 25 minutes..
- Once the fish is cooked in gravy, garnish with coriander leaves ready to serve.
